Desbloqueio Dvp Sr200p

"bloody Promise," a little gem

Last August came to our video stores, without even go through the big screen, the film Promise bloody " ( Blood and Bone, 2009). Do not be fooled by its English title (more appropriate for a desktop telefilm Antena 3) because we are dealing with an action movie and good, despite not having a budget too high.
The film tells the story of Isaiah Bone (Michael Jai White ), an ex-convict who on leaving prison is dedicated to participating in illegal fights. His path crosses with that of James ( Eamonn Walker), a criminal with which it seems that Bone has an outstanding bill.
first thing that stand out are the fights, good choreography and no videoclipero assembly, which allows us to appreciate all the details. This is where Michael Jai White looks ( "Undisputed 2" , "Universal Soldier: The Return" ), an actor who, despite being a great martial artist is lavished little on gender, which is a penalty. What I do have to say is that the fights are mostly very short, since Bone defeat their opponents with overwhelming superiority.

What makes this film is above average, is not just the action scenes, if not the story and characters. In fact, there is a much higher percentage of dialog scenes of fighting, without this it boring or slow the film. We must also acknowledge that they have not got a love story with a shoehorn, although it is well surrounded by Bone Nona Gaye (daughter of singer Marvin Gaye ) or unknown Belegrin Michelle.
The villain of the film is well played by Eamonn Walker ( "Tears of the Sun" ), to avoid falling into the overacting. The British Julian Sands ("Warlock"), despite being the second in the credits, only appears in three scenes.
As a curiosity, mention that in the cast appear authentic wrestlers such as Bob Sapp huge that we have seen in "Elektra" , or in minor roles, the UFC fighters like Kimbo Slice or Gina Carano, future star of "Haywire" , the latest from Steven Soderbergh .
We should also mention that the director is Ben Ramsey who had previously only directed "By profession murderer" and had written the script absurdity of this thing called "Dragonball Evolution" . To his credit, here is to say he's captured so successful fights with enough time flat. This also helps that we are facing one of those films that any fan of action movies should miss.

best: almost everything

Worst: to put some glue the short duration of some fights
