"Resident Evil: beyond the grave", the weakest of the series

I must admit I'm a fan of the series of "Resident Evil" . The first three movies without being masterpieces, they managed to pierce a little fun while Milla Jovovich killing zombies. I must also confess that director Paul WAS Anderson in the black list of many critics, does not bother me at all, at least in the action genre is concerned. His first installment of the series I liked, "Soldier" I think a movie very undervalued and "Mortal Kombat" and "Death Race" are quite entertaining. So with this background, in my opinion this new release the balance should tilt toward the positive side, but that has not happened.

The film starts where he finished third, Alice ( Milla Jovovich ) is endowed with powers and also has an army of clones, with which assaults the base of the Umbrella Corporation in Tokyo. Prior to destroy everything, Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts instead Jason O'Mara) gets injected with a vaccine that takes away his powers. Furthermore, all clones die in the assault. So Alice goes to Alaska, where the survivors fled the third installment. There is only an amnesiac Claire Redfield (Ali Larter ). Later the two head to Los Angeles where he found a group of survivors, which is Claire's brother, Chris ( Wentworth Miller ).

The main problem with this fourth installment is that there is little action, and there is filmed in slow motion. In addition, the undead are in the background, like the second installment. And this is a problem, since the series is geared towards action rather than to terror and if two elements are scarce, it goes wrong. Yes're grateful not skimp on the violence.

The best sequence takes place at the beginning, with the assault on the "Matrix" Alice and building replicas Umbrella. Subsequently, the action fell to the undead led by the giant ax man, burst into the building of the survivors. There if no action but an abuse of slow motion. Furthermore, one expects a epic showdown between Alice and Wesker but it is not mutated. And on top gets more interesting when the film is just as the credits begin and there is a scene with Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory ), which appeared in the second half.

as regards the distribution that the two pretty actors are the most commonly look on screen. The two male leads (Boris Kodjoe and Wentworth milllo ) are eclipasados \u200b\u200bfor them, especially star of "Prison Break" , which is quite wasted in the film. Yes out among secondary Kim Coates ( "The Last Boy Scout" , "Black Hawk Down ) in one of his paper from his estilo.También must mention the presence of English actor Sergio Peris -Mencheta .

Regarding the use of 3D, then it must be recognized that not disappointed. Unlike other recent productions as "Clash of the Titans" or "Airbender: The Last Warrior" , was shot in three dimensions and not adapted later. This means that in its three-dimensional viewing, the viewer will throw various objects, which is ultimately what is intended with the use of 3D in a film of this nature.

Finally, a weak quarter and hopefully many defects remedied in the fifth installment, but considering that this is the more money you raise in the series, it seems clear where to go to get the shots (pun intended) in the next chapter.

What mejor : la violencia del film.
Lo peor : la escasez de escenas de acción y el abuso de la cámara lenta en dichas escenas
